Job Description
The main duties are as follows:
1. Teaching assigned classes, including associated preparation and correction.
2. Developing the school curriculum.
3. Assessing, recording, and reporting pupils' work.
4. Preparing pupils for examinations and assisting with their administration.
5. Providing advice and guidance to pupils on educational issues.
6. Promoting and safeguarding the health, welfare, and safety of pupils.
7. Working in partnership with parents, support staff, and other professionals.
8. Undertaking appropriate and agreed Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
9. Participating in school planning, raising achievement, and conducting individual reviews.
10. Contributing to maintaining good order and addressing the wider needs of the school.
The Individual
Applications will also be considered from applicants who are provisionally registered and able to take up unpromoted permanent positions on a temporary basis. Full-time posts are also suitable for applicants wishing to apply on a job-share or part-time basis.
