A capital equipment provider in the field of automation and a market leader in what they do require an Installation Engineer to install their equipment worldwide. The ideal candidate will be City & Guilds electrically qualified and flexible to travel internationally for 6 weeks+ at a time.

Package: £33, 000 - £36,000 p.a. + Overtime (Potential earnings around £45,000 p.a.) + Hired vehicle for travel + Health Shield + Pension +Expenses float system

The Role
The first few weeks will involve training in Oxfordshire, a hire vehicle will be sent to your home address for your transport and accommodation will be arranged for you.
Once training is complete, your role will report into the Installation and Technical Support Manager and will include the following duties:
-Install large automated equipment worldwide at 6 weeks at a time.
-Whilst working away, you will work across Monday to Sunday with one rest day.
-The standard hours are 47.5 hours per week and you will be paid for travel and compensated for rest during the working week.
-Overtime is paid on a lieu system where 15 days are retained by the company for adequate rest time between trips. You will have the option to be paid for any hours over this on a monthly basis (Mon to Friday overtime paid at a rate x1 and Saturday and Sunday paid at x1.5)
The Person
Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds in electrical you will have experience in the following:
-Previous experience doing installation work in the commercial sector.
-It is essential you hold a valid MEWP licence.
-Ability to interpret installation design plans (CAD)
-Excellent technical knowledge of automation.
-Willingness to travel abroad for 6 weeks+ at a time.
-Candidates with PLC experience will be at a distinct advantage.
-French and German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
