Due to the continuous growth and expansion of a well-established global Manufacturing & Distribution company in the Rotherham area, we have an opportunity for an Production Administrator to join their team on a part time basis. The role is based at their modern UK Head office site which is both commutable from Rotherham, Sheffield, and Barnsley and accessible via public transport.
Working as a Production Administrator you will be working as part of a team of 2 and reporting into the Warehouse Manager your responsibilities will be:
1. Generating and producing pick lists for orders.
2. Ensuring stock levels are maintained.
3. Liaising with suppliers to confirm lead times for delivery.
4. Corresponding with suppliers via telephone and email.
5. Entering specific data on bespoke systems to create manufacturing instructions.
6. General duties such as filing and scanning.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience working as a Production Administrator, Payroll Assistant, Production Planning Assistant or Administrative Assistant within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
The successful Production Administrator operator will:
7. Have experience using Microsoft Excel
8. Previously worked in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
9. Have a great understanding of different materials and gradings
10. Have an eye for detail
