You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £30,573 - £32,229 pa inc London Weighting
The HR Assistant role:
Our HR Assistants play an integral role in the smooth running of the HR support function. Owning a designated area of responsibility as part of the wider team, they provide first line support, essential coordination of activity and act as the gatekeepers to ensure children are kept safe in education through our recruitment practice. Through proactive support to employees contribute to ensuring colleagues can deliver an exceptional learner experience.
Key Responsibilities of our HR Assistant:
* First line support and reception, as the team’s reception function and first point of contact through the HR Helpdesk email address
* Employee lifecycle lead administrator (Perm Recruitment), providing a positive and welcoming first impression of BDC to new colleagues and
from advert to appointment; and following the journey of colleagues to ensure a positive offboarding experiences
* Key agency recruitment liaison (Temp Recruitment), working at pace to make phone calls to our PSL suppliers, and agreed secondary contracts, to support filling short term roles, following through to appointment and offboarding
Our ideal HR Assistant should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
* 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English (A-C grade)
* Use of HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
* Previous experience working in a fast paced office environment
* Excellent working knowledge of HR Information, Recruitment and Payroll Systems including employee self-service
* Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office 365
* CIPD Level 3 qualification in HR or Recruitment (D)
