This role will form part of the sales team specialising in the Fall Protection and Flat Roofing product lines. Experience in these areas is preferred but not essential.
In this role you will manage anddevelop new business in your sales patch (north of England) through a consultative sales approach.
Your main tasks & responsibilities
* Achieve budgeted turnover and profitability targets
* Develop new and existing business within the region by working with sub-contractors, key OEM and distribution partners
* Provide technical and consultative sales support by networking and building strong working relationships within all departments of the customer
* Ensure you have good product and application knowledge at all times
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided at all times
* Maximise profitability whilst securing the business
* Pro-actively seek and secure projects within your sales region
* Work closely with your peers to fully leverage all opportunities
* Understand your competitors and report back on a regular basis any information of note
