Job overview We really believe that behind every great leader is a greater personal assistant Following the formation of our new multi academy trust - Aston University STEM Education Academy Trust and the promotion of existing post holder to Executive Assistant to the CEO, we are seeking two new PAs for our two schools Aston University Engineering Academy, Birmingham’s University Technical College (UTC) and Aston University Mathematics School (Pre-opening). An experienced PA, you will ensure that the Head of the UTC or Head of the Mathematics School have excellent administrative support, enabling them to focus on running the school efficiently and effectively. You will be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude. You will have good literacy and IT skills, multi-tasking ability and flexibility to work in this dynamic and ever-evolving school environment, and will work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The UTC's success has been recognised nationally including the Secretary of State awarding an expansion in September 2023 to 900 students, and a new dedicated building with further STEM specialist facilities, including £350K simulation hospital, Goldsmiths Institute Jewellery Centre and Optical Science laboratories.
