Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Permanent)

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per annum

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community in Pilning, helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential in a structured and engaging environment. This full-time, permanent role offers an opportunity to work closely with teachers and staff to create meaningful learning experiences, encourage positive behaviour, and provide tailored support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning needs.
Responsibilities:
* Offer one-on-one and small-group support for SEN students, ensuring accessible and inclusive learning.
* Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive environment.
* Provide curriculum support, adapting tasks to meet students' varied needs.
* Track student progress, reporting insights and feedback to staff and parents to enhance individual development plans.
Requirements:
* Experience: Previous experience in an SEN environment is preferred, though not essential for those committed to making a difference.
* Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to working with SEN students.
* Qualifications: Basic proficiency in GCSE Maths and English is desirable.
