Job summary
This role will see you taking responsibility for the day to day operational servicing and repairs to meet our clients' targets for PPM, reactive work and first time fixes. You will be expected to ensure breakdowns & planned preventative maintenance work undertaken is compliant with relevant legislation and guidance including NHS Health Technical memorandums (HTMs), Health Building Notes (HBNs), British Standards, European Standards, whilst developing and managing the departmental risk register.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to be qualified in line with 17th / 18th Edition Regulations as well as qualified to City and Guilds 2391-52 combined Testing and Inspection.
It is essential that you have completed a Structured (i.e city & guilds) training programme in Electrical Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. (preferably in an NHS / maintenance setting or have completed a recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical engineering.

• Support in the development and implementation of the Estate's Strategy based upon Trust and Atlas' strategic goals.
• The post holder will undertake fault finding and testing of complex LV networks, critical systems and equipment, such as nurse call equipment and fire alarms. You will be responsible for undertaking fixed electrical installations testing and general inspections.
• The post holder will undertake fault finding and maintenance of various types of plant and catering equipment such as heated trolleys, dishwashers and AHUs. You will be responsible for carrying various PPM tasks.
