Our client, a highly reputable contractor specialising in Re-cladding projects, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to manage and deliver projects from initial contract award to final account, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. For this role you must have experience working as a Principal Contractor delivering Re-cladding/Re-mediation projects. Key Responsibilities As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of project management, including: 1. Programme Development: Preparing and maintaining project programmes using the M Projects application. 2. Project Management: Managing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. 3. Design Coordination: Collaborating with the design team to ensure seamless project delivery. 4. Procurement Management: Overseeing procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and resources. 5. Sub-Contractor Oversight: Managing sub-contractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project timelines. 6. Team Leadership: Supervising site managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. 7. Health & Safety Compliance: Preparing and implementing RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements). Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations across all project sites. 8. Financial Administration: Preparing and submitting applications for payment and variations. Managing cost control to maximise project profitability. 9. Client Relations: Acting as the primary client-facing representative, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Candidate Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess: Experience: Proven experience in contracts management, particularly within the industrial roofing, cladding, or single-ply installation sectors. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cladding systems, including materials, installation methods, and relevant standards. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in using project management tools such as M Projects. Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams effectively. Health & Safety Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry. Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
