Regeneration Programmes Officer
Starting salary between £32220 and £39093 per annum
Based at King’s Court Council Office with hybrid working arrangements
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be part of and drive forward an exciting period of change for King’s Lynn and west Norfolk. If you are self motivated, a good communicator, with excellent organisational skills and have experience of working within projects then this is a fantastic role to support the development of multimillion investment programme with the Regeneration & Economic Development Team.
We need you to support regeneration programmes and projects from development with feasibility plans and outline of business cases through to implementation, these will be from the ambitious strategic plans set out in the Corporate Strategy, West Norfolk Economic Strategy and King’s Lynn Town Investment Plan.
You will manage specific activity to facilitate the implementation of major regeneration programmes and projects to ensure the authority achieves its strategic objectives and outcomes for the benefit of residents and businesses in west Norfolk. As part of this you will be able to manage expectations and bring together varying interests and ideas from the community.
You will have an understanding of project management, with particular regard to grant funded technical and development projects with experience of working with external partners/agencies/consultants successfully securing funding, procurement and client management. You will be able to effectively manage a number of conflicting priorities and deadlines to assist with the delivery of projects on time, to budget and to required outputs/outcomes.
