Job Title: Credit and Collections Advisor
Location: Birmingham
Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Credit Controller for a fantastic green energy business in Birmingham. The company has seen a substantial amount of growth and would be ideal for someone who is looking to grow and develop with a company.
The Candidate's Responsibilities:
* The candidate would be responsible for being proactive and calling/emailing businesses to chase debt.
* Having previous experience as a Credit Controller or Collections Advisor would be beneficial when it comes to completing the general Credit Control duties.
* Be able to review, analyse and improve all processes and queries.
* Be confident when it comes to decision making and speaking with clients of all sizes.
* Communicating with other departments to resolve any issues and chase held up payments.
* Identifying areas of high risk and reporting this.
* Maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure all payments are made in a timely manner.
* Checking and managing Change of Tenancy processes.
* Supporting the larger Customer Operations team.
The Candidate's Requirements:
* Experience within the energy/utility sector is desirable.
* B2B experience is ideal.
* Excellent telephony and written skills are necessary.
* Excel skills are essential – someone who can navigate this software proficiently.
* A proactive, energetic and adaptable individual.
