We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Birmingham, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be working in a specialist 42-bed neuro-rehabilitation centre with the goal to maximise independence and recovery, working closely with patients and their families to set personalised goals.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Physiotherapist:
11. Ensure the provision of a high-quality physiotherapy service and its place within the multidisciplinary team
12. Independently complete specialist assessment of complex neurological patients
13. Formulate individualised problem lists, treatment plans and goals
14. Prescribe 24hr postural management programs, utilising specialist seating, positioning and splints
15. Assess for and manage increased tone/spasticity
16. Provide supervision to therapy assistants and student physiotherapists
17. Participate in teaching and education of relatives and MDT colleagues
18. Actively participate and feedback in MDT meetings
19. Write comprehensive and detailed review reports for patients, commissioners and families
What we are looking for in a Senior Physiotherapist:
20. HCPC registered
21. Excellent clinical knowledge and experience of working with people with neurological conditions and demonstrate an understanding of the long term impact on individuals, their families and carers
