We are working with a exciting software and consultancy company who are looking for a Business Development Executive or Sales Person to join the growing team. The person we are looking for needs to have come from a consultative background and be able to open new opportunities from ideation.
The company specialises in building secure solutions for the most security conscious organisations across the globe such as, Central Government Defence and Law Enforcement.
You will be key in delivering sales pipeline, managing key accounts and developing and growing the business in line with our strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate, drive and close sales opportunities in line with quarterly business targets
* Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
* Develop partnerships with strategically aligned companies and organisations
* Proposal / Bid Management; produce technical proposals, coordinate tender responses including estimation
* Identify and analyse Sales channels e.g. via a reseller, opportunity portals
* Make best use of networking and Sales opportunity events to maximise lead generation and develop relationships
* Support Marketing effort at events across the world
* To be constantly travelling to where the business needs and opportunities are
* Manage existing account for upsell and cross sell opportunities
Experience
* Demonstrable experience of selling value-add services into the National Security / Defence / Law Enforcement sector in the UK
* Strong technical background; comfortable having in-depth technical conversations with both the internal team and the customer
* Problem solver; proactive engagement, needs-based selling and solution-focussed sales
