Role Purpose: Support implementation of the test set up, and verification plan, as defined by Test System Development Engineering, and support diagnostics and fault finding, including tuning as required as part of the production process. Main Responsibilities: Diagnose faults with both RF & DC aspects of highly complex transmit/receive assemblies down to component level Tune RF assemblies Update documentation to improve first time yields Calibrate RF test systems as per documentation Provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineering on best practise RF assembly techniques Develop RF Test competence within manufacturing and participate in training of non-RF test and tune Support manufacturing in diagnostics of assemblies Implement robust production ready test and verification processes Qualifications: Level 4 qualification within an electronics related subject Knowledge and Experience: Extensive experience of working in RF tune and test up to 20 GHz Extensive experience in Electronics diagnostics RF Test Measurement and Calibration Understanding of RF assembly methods and impacts of implementation on RF performance Understanding of modern RF test equipment (R&S, Keysight etc), including Network analyses, spectrum analysers, power meters, frequency converters etc. Understand limitations and usages of each.
