We are looking to recruit a Senior Pensions and Benefits Administrator to join our Reward and Wellbeing team within the wider People Services function based in Worcester. Our team plays a crucial role in developing policy and business-focused solutions for pay, recognition, employee benefits, pension and wellbeing for the Group. As the Senior Pensions Administrator, you will report into the Pensions Specialist and be responsible for administrating our pension schemes as well as providing support for our employee benefits.
The role of Senior Pensions and Benefits Administrator will include:
* Pension Payroll Processes: Support the accurate and timely delivery of pension payroll processes, including automatic enrolment procedures and submission of reports to pension schemes, ensuring compliance with legislation, contractual requirements, pension scheme rules, and Group policy.
* Guidance and Advice: Provide clear guidance and advice, acting as the first point of contact for pension queries and taking ownership for their accurate resolution.
* Employee Benefits: Provide support and cover for employee benefits administration, including responding to queries, reporting, and maintaining data on the online employee platform.
* Record Maintenance: Complete, maintain, and monitor accurate records to ensure appropriate audit trails and compliance with relevant legislation, minimizing risk to the company.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain good working relationships with third-party providers and internal stakeholders, including people services, payroll, finance, and communications. Ensure any issues are identified and dealt with appropriately, escalating where necessary.
* Communication and Promotion: Support the delivery of pension and employee benefit communication and promotion activities to improve employee engagement with the Group's reward and wellbeing package.
* Process Improvement: Make process improvement recommendations within the remit of the role.
* Project Support: Support reward and wellbeing projects.
Skills and experiences:
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within HR, payroll, finance or consultancy.
* An excellent communicator with experience delivering customer-focused services and handling confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
* Numerate with the ability to produce reports and analyse large data sets using excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritise tasks and workload.
* Understanding of pensions and employee benefits.
* Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
* Some experience with SAP HR systems is desirable.
* Ability to deal sensitively and with discretion.

* Effective 1st April role salary is £22,017 (rising to £23,176 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
The full time equivalent salary for this role effective 1st April is £27,521 based on 35 hours per week rising to £28,970 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance.
This is a hybrid role with a balance between home and office working, it is expected that you will attend the office at least 2 days per week.
