Job Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality support to service users aged 17 to 26 in a hostel setting.
* Assist with daily living activities and promote independence among service users.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents during your shift.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
* Work collaboratively with a team to deliver effective support services.
* Engage with service users to build trusting relationships and encourage participation in activities.
* Respond to emergencies and incidents in accordance with company policies.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment for all service users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in a support or care role, preferably within a hostel or similar environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young adults in a hostel setting.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting the welfare of service users.
