Job Title: 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer – Contract Location: On-Site – London Contract Type: Contract Rate: £250 per day (outside IR35) Contact: eamglopg-rec.com Overview: We're looking for a confident and capable 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join a busy IT team on a contract basis. This role is fully on-site in London, supporting end users across a range of technologies. Ideal for someone hands-on, technically sharp, and customer-focused. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site 1st and 2nd line technical support Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Support Windows OS, Android/iOS devices Assist with LAN/WAN/WiFi connectivity issues Set up and configure laptops and mobile devices Administer Office 365, SharePoint, and Active Directory Support users on Google Cloud platforms Use Autopilot and Intune for device setup and management Log and manage tickets accurately, escalating where necessary Key Skills & Experience: Solid background in 1st/2nd Line Helpdesk support Windows 10/11, Office 365, and SharePoint Mobile device support – Android & iOS Networking fundamentals – LAN, WAN, WiFi Experience with Google Cloud tools Familiarity with Autopilot and Intune for device provisioning Strong communication and problem-solving skills Confident working independently in a fast-paced office environment Desirable: IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Freshdesk) Interested?
