About the Maintenance Engineer Role
As Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias, you will be maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure continued manufacturing, performing all tasks within the ISO (Apply online only) Quality Management, H&S and environmental systems. The role will cover both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.
Other responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

Installation of new production equipment.
*
Planned and reactive maintenance of production equipment and site facilities.
*
Delivering production processes that are appropriate for the manufacturing environment, and that meet manufacturing objectives.
*
Conforming to procedures that are compliant to ISO, GMP and all other applicable agency regulations and standards.
*
Communicate opportunities to develop most efficient processes.
*
Support the Engineering Manager with plant projects as required.
About You
You will have previous experience in a similar Maintenance Engineer role with a Mechanical Bias and some knowledge of Electrical engineering, preferably with experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology environment.
Other requirements include:

A strong understanding of machine operation and production processes.
*
Thorough knowledge of ISO quality systems, validation principles for manufacturing processes and statutory facility requirements.
*
Experience in design for manufacturing, process design, process validation and project management.
*
Experience with statistical techniques (e.g., DOE, SPC, Six Sigma problem solving).
