POSITION SUMMARY:
To deliver a professional customer sales experience to our UK and international customers. Assist customers and work with the sales team on enquiries, quotations, order processing, shipping and general administrative support.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate as a key point of contact for customers.
* Administer and respond to email and telephone enquiries relating to order statuses and tracking, stock queries, providing copies of invoices, technical data sheets, pricing information, POD, or any other administrative request.
* Ensure all queries are recorded and are responded to or escalated in a timely manner in accordance with internal and external SLAs.
* Issue order acknowledgements for sales orders.
* Raise pro-forma invoices, including the use of export shipping costs and Incoterms.
* Represent the Sales Team at daily production meetings and any other departmental or cross functional meeting.
* Answer and transfer telephone calls to the relevant Team Member.
* Monitor the Sales Inbox and respond or forward queries to the relevant Team Member.
* Encourage and foster a helpful environment where teamwork and continuous improvement prevail.
* Provide temporary cover and support for other Sales Team members as necessary during busy periods.
* Work collaboratively with all Business Teams across each Slingco location including UK, USA, and Australia.
* Commit to personal learning and development.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Previous export sales administration experience (essential).
* Thorough knowledge of export sales documentation and procedures.
* Experience of working in a busy Sales office.
* Commercially astute.
* Computer literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Office programs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisation and planning skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Excellent numeracy skills.
