A Manufacturing company in Tiptree are recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to join them ASAP on a temporary - permanent basis. Working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, paying £12.50 per hour depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Purchasing Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
Monitor stock levels: Re-order when required & flag discrepancies. Coordinating with departments with regards to stock materials ETA's. Monitoring outstanding orders and ensure records match key supplier records. Track and report material liabilities and follow- up actions to ensure aged stock is not built-up. Ensure that all damaged and quarantined stock are credited or replaced by suppliers. Prioritising a fluid workload to ensuring relevant orders are received in full and on time. Support the returns function ensuring all returns are processed and stock control maintained. Maint and developing supplier relationships via phone, email and some supplier visits.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Purchasing Administration role:
Previous experience in a purchasing administrator role or similar. Intermediate user of MS Outlook in particular Excel. Good communications and negotiation skills. Ability and desire to progress and train in a procurement role. Maths and English GCSE's grade C or above (or equivalent).
