Job Description
* Oversee client bookkeeping
* Able to manage and take responsibility for own portfolio of clients
* Preparation of complex company financial statements
* Preparation of interim management accounts
* Preparation of personal tax returns
* Preparation of partnership accounts and returns
* Review and submit quarterly VAT returns
* VAT Registration and Deregistration
* Forecasts and business projections - not essential
* Attend client meetings and interact with directors and business owners
* Train members of staff and allocate duties
* Company Secretarial Duties
* Preparation of P11ds (desirable)
* Set and work to budgets to meet monthly forecasts
* Any other general accountancy/administrative work as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
* Excellent experience of Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris, Excel (essential)
* Sage Business Cloud (advantage)
* Strong Attention to Detail
* Excellent Time Management Skills
* Exceptional Communication Skills with a good telephone manner
* Good written and technical Skills
* Strong Prioritisation and Organisation Skills
* Ability to Handle Confidential Information
* Strong Record Keeping Skills
* Working towards or ACA/ACCA qualified - QBE also considered
