A great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor, with an emphasis on Employee Relations.
This is a temporary assignment on a fixed term contract for 6 months, 4 days a week, 32 hours with a March 2025 start.
As the HR Advisor of Prometheus you report to the Head of HR to support and work collaboratively, building effective working relationships with the wider Prometheus team.
The role has a strong focus on employee relations, but also provides the opportunity to be actively involved in Organisational change and resource management.
This is an office based role.
Main duties of the job
1. Be the first point of contact for ER queries, take the lead to support Managers with Employee Relation cases, while assessing any mitigating potential risk.
2. Develop effective on-going relationships at all levels, responding to queries directly and influencing managers to follow a best practice approach.
3. Ensure the accurate monitoring and recording of the case management system.
4. Provide Guidance and support on family Friendly Matters, including maternity, flexible working, Paternity and adoption.
5. Produce required monthly and weekly reports.
6. Support the HR team in the administration of the employee cycle processes ensuring that legal compliance is met.
7. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of processes, policies and documentation to align with best practice and Legal standards.
8. Support the Head of HR in key people strategy projects such as staff surveys and external compliance audits.

Managing Director, Finance Director, Senior Leadership Team, Clinical Logistics Managers, Deputy PCC Managers, Human Resources, Healthcare Professionals, Finance and other staff from across the RCI Group of Businesses.
Role Overview:
1. Create and update HR content which is legally compliant and in support of the HR function.
2. Train, upskill and support our line management community through coaching and training.
3. Create and present data insights to contribute to strategic decisions.
4. Manage employee relations cases in accordance with company policy and procedures.
5. Maintain effective relationships with the business, and consistently maintain high professional standards in line with ACAS and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct.
6. Champion the visions and values of our business and in particular where they impact on our workforce.
7. Respond to and answer general queries that are sent to the HR Inbox, owning where possible, and escalating where required.
8. Own longer-term projects that support business growth through HR input.
9. Support delivery of, and sometimes lead, training sessions owned by HR.
10. Support consultations and business restructuring with wider business leaders. Act as a point of contact for colleagues with specific change queries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively manage and support employee relations cases including high risk cases across all business streams and at all levels to ensure that they are dealt with in line with policies and procedures and meet key performance indicators and service level agreements.
2. Coach, educate and advise managers on best practice in relation to employment related issues by providing compliant, commercial, professional and timely advice.
3. Answer queries regarding terms and conditions of employment to ensure processes are followed and are actioned within agreed timeframes.
4. Review case documentation to ensure reduction of risk, quality control, compliance with employment law.
5. Identify and escalate areas of non-compliance or high risk to stakeholders, providing regular management information and additional ad hoc reporting as necessary.
6. Analyse and present HR management information on a regular, or where requested, basis to support HR initiatives and drive improvement for the organisation.
7. Design and deliver bespoke HR related training to equip managers with the knowledge and skills required to manage their teams effectively.
8. Support senior stakeholders in managing the legal process including ACAS early conciliation, general ACAS liaison and supporting with employment tribunals.
9. Undertake a comprehensive review, update and creation of new HR documentation as required.
10. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure HR are trusted advisers and services are utilised by the company.
11. Provide ad hoc project support to the wider HR team as required.
12. Support with any other work as required by the department.
13. Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Qualification in HRM;
* CIPD Level 5 Essential or Equivalent;
* Degree or CIPD Level 7 Qualification - Desirable.
Experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources;
* Experience of a HR Generalist or Employee Relations role at advisory level;
* Experience of managing complex employee relation cases;
* Experience of delivering employment advice and guidance to managers at all levels;
* Experience of Coaching / training Line Managers;
* Proven experience in dealing with a high level of HR case management;
* High level of Professionalism and integrity;
* Demonstrate commitment to fairness and the promotion of diversity & inclusion;
* Experience of working in a large multi-site organisation;
* Familiar with ISO Standards 9001.
