Main duties of the job As a clinical expert and role model, you will be required to manage a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, closely monitoring the progression of their clinical skills and encouraging their professional development, Able to identify and develop the potential in others. On a day-to-day basis, you will be relied upon to assume direct responsibility for the smooth running of the ward and providing a high-quality service to patients, co-ordinating care and prioritising the team's workload.
