Health and Safety Officer Skills: The Health and Safety Advisor role would suit an experienced, self-reliant individual with 4 years construction experience: A third level qualification in Health and Safety or related field (Diploma or Degree) Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred Ideally experience in the civils end of construction Experience within the construction sector - commercial / industrial / quarrying experience. Able to manage Health and Safety on-site using their own initiative within the scope of the management system Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint), and a general competence in using new technologies (Mobile Apps etc) Able to chair and deliver Health and Safety meetings and presentations As Health and Safety Officer: Reporting to and working closely with the Group Health and Safety Manager. Contribute to the Tool Box talk topics, discussion and delivery. You will liaise with Site Managers to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site. Support the ongoing enhancement of company systems and procedures to uphold and exceed safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards. Ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015 certifications, driving excellence in site safety and environmental performance.
