Job Title: Site Manager - Retail Refrigeration Project

Rate: 250 - 320 per day

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager for an exciting Retail Refrigeration Project in Coventry. This project involves the installation and management of refrigeration systems for a high-profile retail environment, and we require a Site Manager with strong experience in managing similar projects in retail or commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the refrigeration installation project on-site, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Team Supervision: Lead, coordinate, and supervise on-site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project schedules.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
* Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of work to ensure that the project meets the specified technical and quality standards.
* Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with the client and key stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
* Resource Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure resources are available as required, avoiding delays and keeping the project on track.
* Reporting: Provide daily reports on site progress, any challenges encountered, and the status of the project to senior management.
* Troubleshooting: Resolve any technical or operational issues on-site swiftly to prevent delays or disruptions in the project timeline.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly in the retail, commercial, or refrigeration sectors.
* Strong knowledge of retail refrigeration systems and their installation.
* Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, including the ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce site safety procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid CSCS card (essential).
* SMSTS or equivalent Site Management qualification (preferred).
* First Aid certification (preferred).
