Our A rated Stroke Unit at West Suffolk Hospital Foundation Trust is seeking a passionate Nurse to join our team.
The Stroke Unit - Ward G8, is a 30 bedded unit which cares for Stroke patients admitted directly from the Emergency department to the wards Hyper-acute Stroke bay and supports patients through their journey of Stroke rehabilitation to discharge. Working closely with the wider interdisciplinary teams, we strive to provide exceptional standards of care to our patients whilst achieving a happy and supportive work environment. We offer huge potential to further develop clinical skills. Applicants will have ambition to drive high quality standards of care.

Education and qualifications
* NMC Registration or NQ Nurse awaiting Registration
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* ENB 998 or equivalent
* BLS/ILS
Experience and knowledge
* Teaching experience
* Ability to work to clear protocols/ guidelines within role boundaries
* Previous acute experience within the NHS
Skills and abilities
* Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing.
* Willingness to share knowledge and mentor students
* Evidence of good attendance and timekeeping
* Team player, able to problem solve to meet team objectives
