The Team:
The Preceptor Education and Training Programs RN will be working with a vibrant team focused on teaching and learning. They hold a key role in the clinical supervision and training of Registered and Enrolled Nurses which supports the development, recruitment, and retention of nurses across Hospitals North.
The Role:
The Registered Nurse - Preceptor Education and Training Programs (PETP) will:
* Provide education and preceptor support in the clinical setting for a range of health care students.
* Contribute to the advanced clinical care in accordance with requirements and meet the psychological, physical, and spiritual needs of patients/clients.
* Provide clinical education in a formalized setting.
You will need to:
* Work proficiently and competently across a variety of clinical settings.
* Provide constructive feedback to learners regarding their performance.
* Preferably, the successful applicant will have undertaken, or be prepared to undertake, the Preceptor Education Program.
Details of appointment:
Permanent part-time, shift worker (not working weekends or public holidays) position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from 30 March 2025.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 - $105,995 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or relevant postgraduate qualifications.
