What the Job Involves As an Experienced Social Worker within the MASH team, you will assess and respond to the safeguarding needs of children, young people, and their families. You will complete timely assessments, manage complex and varied caseloads, and work closely with all relevant agencies to ensure effective participation and engagement in assessment and planning. Direct work with children and young people will be at the heart of your practice, aligned with the Professional Capabilities Framework. You will also support new social workers and be responsible for maintaining high-standard case records and reports. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with data protection and health and safety standards, while embracing opportunities for service improvement.
