Description Are you passionate about working with adults and want to use your skills and want to use your core skills as a Technical Officer? We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Technical Officer to undertake effective technical adaptations to support the Independence and Wellbeing Team and the NHS. The Service & Team: As part of the Independence and Wellbeing Team, you’ll focus on preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support; providing advice, information, equipment and minor adaptation to promote wellbeing and independence. You will ensure that residents, families and communities have the right support in place at the right time. You will work alongside Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants to provide technical advice and support for individuals. The Role: You will need to be innovative with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well under pressure. You will need to work autonomously and have good communication skills to work efficiently and across the East/North of the county as required. This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check. Working Pattern: 37 hours - Monday to Thursday 08:45 - 17-15 and Friday 08:45 - 16:45 What you’ll need to succeed: A relevant background in the provision of minor adaptation and empathetic communication skills.
