Job Details
We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People, with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which will involve creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records of support planning. You will ensure that the service user is offered opportunities, experiences, and care as outlined in their care plan. The role will also involve promoting service users to access opportunities in their local communities and enabling them to continue to live a meaningful life.
We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people; the care homes also support a respite, STAR unit, and day service.

The Person
You will provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
You must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
You must have or be able to work towards the required qualification SVQ 3, as required by the Scottish Social Services Council. Once qualified, it is your responsibility to inform the Scottish Social Services Council of your qualification within the timeframes set at point of registration.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months. More details are included in the role profile.
