The leisure service aims to support people across North East Lincolnshire to be more active, more often and has a focus on reducing health inequalities across our communities.

The leisure service impacts residents across North East Lincolnshire through a range of services and facilities, whether through its leisure centre operation and service delivery with its partner Lincs Inspire, investment and development of facilities and playing pitches, or wider partnership working with sporting and community organisations and groups.
The Role
As Place Partnership Development Manager, each day brings new opportunities to lead, manage and coordinate the Sport England Expanding Place Partnership Programme in North East Lincolnshire. You'll be at the helm, establishing the programme, tracking project progress, setting deadlines and navigating risks and opportunities. Collaboration is at the heart of your role, as you work closely with the Head of Culture, Heritage, Leisure & Tourism, and Public Health colleagues to forge impactful partnerships and advance North East Lincolnshire Council's sport and physical activity strategy. Your efforts will span across various organisations and sectors, ensuring the programme's success. Your mission? To boost physical activity and reduce inactivity among North East Lincolnshire residents, with a focus on people that may need more support to be active, aligning resources to priority locations and groups where it can have the most impact. Every day is a chance to make a difference in the community!
You will play a pivotal role as the face of the place expansion programme locally. Your approach to relationship building with a wide variety of local partners will be key, this will see you collaborating closely with colleagues across community engagement, ensuring the public's voice is heard as part of the programme's future development.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative team player who can hit the ground running in the delivery of place partnership expansion in North East Lincolnshire. The ideal candidate will possess experience in programme management, as well as expertise in leisure or public health commissioning. Additionally, proficiency in budgeting and financial control of projects is essential.
