Our client is a fully remote design practice, specialising in the design of leisure and sports centres throughout the UK and internationally. They are looking for a talented Technologist in Scotland to join their Glasgow team.
The Job
We are looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist in Scotland. The successful candidate will be proficient in CAD software and 3D visualisation tools, they should be able to showcase experience of working on a project either through past work or university. Although the client does not have offices in Scotland, they offer quarterly trips abroad to meet up with the rest of the team, and take part in training/team-building exercises.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings and plans.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Utilise CAD software and 3D visualisation tools to create accurate and detailed project renderings.
* Participate in site visits and inspections to oversee the implementation of designs.
* Ensure all drawings are technically accurate, clear, and in full accordance with the latest Technical Regulations.
Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
* 2+ Years experience
* Proficiency in CAD software and 3D visualisation tools.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
