CY Executive Resourcing are excited to be supporting a housing association in the North West, to recruit a Finance Manager to join their progressive and highly regarded team.

The Finance Manager will be a highly motivated individual with responsibility for the business partnering function, and will promote financial sustainability across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide operational financial advice to all levels of the organisation to inform decision making.
2. Provide leadership to the operational finance business partnering team.
3. Develop and manage the production of the monthly management accounts and business partnering packs for all entities within the organisation, including analysis and explanation of variance to budget, cashflows, Board papers and presentations.
4. Lead and manage the production and reporting of annual budgets, reconciling to 40 year plan.
5. Prepare and inform Executive and Board papers and presentations.
6. Review payroll costs and reporting of performance data monthly with Heads of Departments.
7. Work with the People Services Team to support the monthly payroll checking process.
8. Ensure the planning of collaborative working with budget holders/senior leadership.
9. Provide financial training and guidance to budget holders.
10. Identify opportunities for income generation, key trends and issues affecting financial performance.
11. Provide pro-active, future focused decision support to Directorates, using financial analysis to facilitate change.
12. Responsible for appropriate integration between the operational plans designed to deliver against the strategic Framework, and the Financial 3 to 5 year plan.
13. Drive improvement within finance systems and processes.
14. Lead, inspire, manage and develop the operational business partnering team.
15. Promote a Finance Business Partnering ethos across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, or hold significant experience in a Senior Finance Business Partnering role.
You will have experience within the housing sector, and be able to establish strong business partnering relationships across the organisation, encouraging innovation and efficiencies.
The post holder will be required to work on site in the Manchester area a minimum of two days per week.
