The Opportunity: Nigel Wright Group have been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Head of Sales for a leading technology services business based in the North East. Our client’s ambition is to provide enterprise quality services to medium-sized businesses and one of the main focuses of this role is to drive high growth within their existing customer base through the creation and implementation of rigorous sales processes. Strong sales leadership and enablement experience must have been gained in a fast paced, recurring service based technology environment. Role Profile: To build an “enterprise quality” team that can sell services to medium size companies To coach and lead a team of experienced Account Directors Create, implement and develop robust sales processes to grow market share, revenue and margin through increased product adoption Accurately forecast pipeline and upside to ensure adequate resource planning Develop excellence in product presentations and proposals Person Specification: Articulate and analytical with ability to accurately forecast Coaching management style Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge the status quo Proven track record of working with c-suite contacts and exec level management Previous experience of developing and implementing rigorous sales processes with tangible results across existing and new business Background in fast-paced recurring service technology environment Exposure to enterprise clients is essential Experience in a large corporate/enterprise business would be beneficial Other information: The role is based in the County Durham based offices, with attendance expected for at least three days per week on average.
