Your new role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective geography lessons to students aged 11-16, preparing them for their GCSE exams and inspiring a curiosity about the world.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
* Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Geography or a related field.
* Experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
