Description UE08: £49,250 pa - £60,321 pa, plus a taxed pensionable allowance of £2,500 pa CMVM / Deanery of Biomedical Sciences Fixed-Term (One year) Full-time, 35 hours per week The Opportunity: To support and enhance the delivery of undergraduate teaching and assessment in microbiology, parasitology and epidemiology, in programmes run jointly in China by the University of Edinburgh, Zhejiang University and the University of Edinburgh-Zhejiang University Joint Institute (ZJE). The post holder will also contribute to academic administration of teaching and assessment activities. The post holder will be required to spend up to 12 weeks per annum at the Zhejiang University International Campus in Haining, China. The salary for this post is £49,250 to £60,321per annum. Your skills and attributes for success: PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant Biomedical Sciences discipline. Experience in teaching in a Higher Education Institution with evidence of innovation in teaching delivery and assessment. Good project management skills and experience of co-ordinating resources other than self. Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
