Responsibilities
of the Role:
1. Perform Real-Time Monitoring (RTM), which involves monitoring and investigating relevant alerts that could indicate signs of disorderly trading. For relevant alert triggers, escalate to management and second line where necessary.
2. Lead the development of new alerts that could identify signs of disorderly trading.
3. Lead the program to develop the strategic RTM tool, which includes documenting requirements, regular engagement with the development team and chairing the internal RTMernance meeting
4. Ownership of the EMEA RTM procedure, ensuring it is regularly reviewed and updated.
5. Ownership and responsibility of managing the EMEA RTM rota to ensure there is sufficient coverage, including relevant UK Bank Holidays.
6. Ownership and responsibility of periodic reviews of the in-scope activity and alert scope taking into account new applications/strategies.
7. Host monthly/bi-monthly RTM meetings with relevant Businesses to review the RTM performance over the period.
8. Coach and manage other dedicated members of the EMEA RTM team.
9. Provide oversight and project management of key E-Trading initiatives and remediation of cross-Market enhancement projects for the EMEA region.
10. Develop and manage key relationships with the EMEA E-Trading Businesses, Technology, Risk andpliance functions.
Qualifications:
11. Prior relevant E-Trading experience preferably in a trading or controls related monitoring role.
12. Strong product knowledge in FICC and Equities
13. Experience in performing a monitoring role
14. Experience in managing, training, and coaching
15. Experience in developing a monitoring tool
16. Excellentmunication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
17. Experience in presenting in seniorernance forums.
18. Excellent project management skills with the ability to balancepeting priorities.
19. Proven record of designing and implementing controls and remedial action plans.
20. Tenacious hands-on problem-solving skills.
21. Ability to work across businesses, functions, and other key stakeholders.
