Credit Controller – Oak
Romford
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join the team at Galliford Try within our Oak Fire Protection Business. Ideally, you will be based in or around the Romford area.
* Ensuring timely payments from customers
* Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
* Chasing overdue payments promptly and persistently through phone calls, emails, and letters
* Using Microsoft packages including Office and Excel
* Data input into various Microsoft Excel documents
* Using Orbit Galliford Try System (training provided)
* Document management including filing.
About You:
* Previous experience in a construction-related Credit Control field
* Ability to manage own ledger, including experience in escalating aged debt to seek resolution
* Ability to produce context-driven, succinct aged debtor reports for management review
* Proven ability to reduce debtor days by developing relationships with clients using the telephone
* Experience of Money Claim Online (MCOL) desired but not essential
* High performing telephone skills which are used as a key tool to reduce debtor days
* Time management expertise
* Confident use of Microsoft Office skillset
* Excellent attention to detail
