An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Ledger Manager to join our Finance Operations team on permanent basis. As Finance Ledger Manager you will lead, manage, coach & mentor a team within our Financial Operations Department ensuring resource is adequately managed to facilitate the day to day activities. You will be responsible for the controls, integrity and monthly review and sign off, of financial data within the ledgers for the ledger reporting. You will ensure that daily liquidity funding from trades are accurate and any breaches recorded in line with process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : lead the partnership with key stakeholders to reduce financial risks & exposures in relation to key processes continually review and improve processes and controls to increase efficiency and mitigate risks. Managing a team to deliver quality financial data, work to tight deadlines Leading in the oversight of key relationships with our auditors and our third party administrator We’d love to hear from you if you have: Excellent knowledge of Financial Services accounting and Finance environment, including pensions & investment, and banking Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally Excellent knowledge of general ledger and technical accounting Experience of bank and control account reconciliations, over multi currencies A growth mindset and passion for identifying and enacting continuous improvement Proven experience in managing a direct team It is also desirable but not essential to have: An accounting qualification or working towards ACCA/CIMA What’s in it for you?
