What you'll be doing:
1. Carry out work as per schedule supplied by the Services Manager or Supervisor and as per site policies, schedules and procedures.
2. Troubleshoot problems with equipment as necessary, and as directed by site supervisors.
3. Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
4. Liaise with subcontractors during planned service maintenance.
5. Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task Lists.
6. Carry out periodic reviews of EWI/SOP.
7. All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
8. Flexibility to work on equipment in all buildings and around Maintenance Shutdowns.
9. Participate in Audits of the Mechanical and Electrical plant rooms and follow up on actions.
10. Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
11. Drive local reviews of maintenance performance data using published maintenance excellence KPI results.
12. Ensure that the CMMS system contains the most up to date information regarding equipment data, spares and maintenance man-hours.
13. Maximise maintenance wrench time utilisation through effective planning.
What we're looking for:
1. Electrical experience, 5 years minimum and full understanding of all electrical regulations.
2. City & Guilds 2391.
3. Must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems; related mechanical experience is an advantage.
4. Experience with Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems; general canteen/kitchen equipment.
5. Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems and Building Management Systems.
6. Previous work within a Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.
7. Previous work within a documented Permit to Work System.
8. Ability to read and understand P&ID's/electrical drawings.
9. Understanding of Basic Instrumentation.
10. Understanding of SOP's and GMP Engineering systems is an advantage.
11. NICEIC registration shall be obtained within Probationary Period (6 Months).
