Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for a new opportunity? Halton Council are currently seeking skilled professionals to join our team on a flexible basis, offering both part-time and full-time positions.
You will assess individuals of all ages with physical disabilities, illness, or injury to determine needs and eligibility for support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement treatment plans to enhance independence and improve quality of life.
* To undertake assessments to determine appropriate interventions and / or referral to other health and social care services where interventions are designed to promote recovery and maximise independence.
* To give advice and arrange support for family members, carers and those who support service-users.
* To keep records of service-user progress (using approved computer records systems), recommending referrals to other services as appropriate, adapting to changes in need and circumstances or ceasing interventions no longer needed.
* Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time, which are commensurate with the grade of the job.
What We’re Looking For:
* Occupational Therapist with relevant registration.
* Experience in assessing and planning interventions for individuals with diverse needs.
* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
* A problem-solving mindset with a person-centred approach to care.
* Working in a person-centred way to co-produce care plans.
* Must have driving license.
