KS2 Teaching Assistant - Dover
Full-time - £83.33-£90 per day - ASAP start
Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Dover. This role will be working with their KS2 year groups. This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will be a temp contract till the end of the academic year with the possibility of being extended. There will be training and additional CPD provided too.
The school is a single form entry primary school in Dover and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas. The school was observed to have an ambitious curriculum and has taken great steps to improve pupils outcomes and this has led them to be fully engaged with their education. They also identify and support the needs of the children with SEND very well. The school is based fairly close to the centre of Dover and is easily accessible via public transport and on site parking.

The Role
5. Working as both a main class and dedicated SEN TA. This will be primarily supporting multiple children across KS1 and KS2, currently undergoing assessment for SEN.
6. Working on a 1:1 basis providing dedicated Maths and Phonics support.
7. Assessing students' progress and discussing development with Teachers, Parents/Carers, and external agencies if necessary.
8. Undertaking CPD if the role requires it, in which you will be accredited for.
Requirements
9. Experience working as a main class Teaching Assistant would be highly desirable.
10. Holding a L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desirable but not essential.
11. Experience working with children with SEN within an education, pastoral, or personal setting would be highly desirable
12. Either have, or be willing to get, an enhanced DBS on the update service.
13. Must have right to work in the UK
