An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospital Aintree, to support the Major Trauma Ward as a band 5 staff nurse.
Preference would be given to candidates with experience in dealing with patients with acute/complex injuries; equally welcome would be candidates with experience in acute surgical settings.
Applicants must possess excellent communication and organisational, and should be prepared to work in a flexible working environment.
Your role will adopt a strategic approach to in patient care, supporting ward based colleagues.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Nursing service to inpatients through clinical practice, and work effectively within the multidisciplinary team.

Registered Nurse Band 5
Qualifications Essential, Desirable:
Registered Nurse, current NMC registration
Diploma in Nursing
Mentorship/teaching qualification
Post registration qualification in relevant specialty
Experience Essential, Desirable:
Post registration experience and successful completion of Band 5 foundation gateway competencies
Experience within relevant clinical setting
Experience of maintaining a clinical learning environment
Evidence of working with students
Recent acute hospital experience [including as a student nurse]
