37.5 hours per week - Based at Colchester - AHP Registration Required

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Nurse, Midwife or AHP who:
* Has a passion for education and developing others
* Has good organisational and clinical skills, and is keen to support clinical excellence by developing "best practice"
* Is progressive, innovative and can help to drive change
* Is keen to undertake audit and research
* Has excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate well with all staff members
* Has a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other healthcare professionals in the organisation and partner education providers

* Sound evidence of clinical ability
* Provides evidence of ability to make changes in nursing practice
* Critical analysis skills
* Undertaken management of clinical risk
* Understanding of improvement methodologies
Experience
* Proven post qualifying experience in an acute setting
* Mentoring/coaching experience
* Evidence of managing and improving the patient experience
* Experience of supporting learners in a clinical setting
* Evidence of teaching and assessing in practice
* Previous experience at Band 6
* Experience of delivering teaching in a classroom setting
