We've teamed up with the fast growing hair care brand, Hairburst, who are now in the market to secure a Creative Lead to join the team.

Role Overview
Hairburst is seeking a talented and visionary Creative Lead to define and drive the creative direction of our brand. Reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager, you will play a key strategic role in shaping and elevating the brand's creative output across all touchpoints. You will lead a team of creative professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our brand identity and creative campaigns not only resonate with our audience but also elevate Hairburst’s positioning in the market.
This is a highly strategic role for a creative leader who is passionate about brand development, understands the power of creativity in business growth, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creative Strategy Development: Lead the development of Hairburst’s overarching creative strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand vision. Define creative direction and elevate the overall aesthetic and tone of the brand.
2. Team Leadership: Manage, inspire, and mentor a growing team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
3. Creative Campaigns: Oversee the ideation, development, and execution of creative campaigns across multiple channels (social media, digital, print, retail, packaging, etc.), ensuring each campaign is impactful and aligns with the brand’s identity.
4. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all creative outputs (from marketing materials to product packaging) are on-brand, consistent in style and messaging, and uphold Hairburst’s identity across all platforms.
5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align creative strategy with product launches, marketing goals, and sales initiatives.
6. Feedback and Refinement: Provide clear, precise, and actionable feedback to in-house designers to ensure timely and accurate execution of creative assets. Work closely with the team to refine concepts and ensure alignment with brand ethos, consumer insights, and market trends.
7. Creative Innovation: Continuously push the boundaries of creativity to ensure Hairburst remains at the forefront of the beauty and wellness sector. Leverage emerging trends and technologies to drive fresh, innovative creative outcomes.
8. Paid Ads Support: Collaborate with the digital and marketing teams to support the creation and optimisation of paid ads (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads). Provide creative input to enhance ad performance, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics while driving conversions and ROI.
9. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Track and analyse the effectiveness of creative campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimise future work. Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager and other departments to refine and improve creative output.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong background in creative strategy and brand development
* Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring creative teams
* Expertise in visual storytelling and the ability to translate brand values into compelling creative concepts
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proficiency in creative software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and a good understanding of digital platforms
* Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including marketing, design, social and paid teams
* Understanding of digital advertising, particularly paid ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, etc.)
* High-level strategic thinking and ability to balance creative freedom with brand consistency
* Ability to stay ahead of creative trends and emerging technologies in the industry
* A strong portfolio showcasing diverse creative projects and brand campaigns
