About this Signage Production Managers job As a Signage Production Manager, you will oversee the Production and Installation functions of this £5M turnover business. The role's primary focus is ensuring high standards and quality across all production and installation activities. You will lead and manage a team of 14 direct reports, consisting of 10 on-site production staff and 4 installers. Responsibilities include conducting weekly production meetings and contributing to monthly management meetings. Signage Production Manager job responsibilities This Signage Production Manager job responsibilities will include: Lead and manage the production process, ensuring all work is manufactured, delivered, and installed to the highest standards. Develop production planning schedules, quality control processes, and installation schedules. Train and develop all production team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to maintain high work standards. Establish clear job specifications and measurable personal objectives, along with individual training plans. Maintain strong communication with customers throughout production and installation processes. Work cross-functionally with internal departments to communicate production schedules, status updates, and lead times. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, both in production and on installation sites, including risk assessments and method statements. Continuously research and propose new methods, machinery, and investment opportunities to improve quality and efficiency while maintaining carbon-neutral commitments. You To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in signage production, particularly in aluminum fabrication. Additionally, you should demonstrate: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication abilities.
