Council is looking for a Natural Reserves Maintenance Officer within the Operations Department who will be responsible for delivering horticultural maintenance programs within coastal areas. Your main responsibilities will include: Implementing maintenance programs to enhance biodiversity and horticultural presentation within coastal reserves and public open space in accordance with best horticultural management techniques and utilising specialist plant and equipment. About you Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management, Horticulture or related discipline. Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas and garden beds to a visually pleasing aesthetic. A strong understanding of safe work practices. This position is a Band 2A currently remunerated at $65,336.84 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
