We are seeking a future Teacher to join our dynamic team as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), working alongside a group of incredible children with SEND. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enhance your teaching skills, and embark on a rewarding career in education. We encourage applications from recent graduates who are aspiring to become teachers and are eager to gain valuable experience within the SEND sector. Other areas such as youth work, care/support work, sports and any background with children are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:
* Provide essential one-to-one and small group support for children with a variety of SEND needs.
* Collaborate closely with teachers to help tailor lessons and activities to meet individual learning requirements.
* Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every child feels empowered and supported.
* Assist with the daily personal care and social development of students to help them reach their potential both academically and personally.
* Help children build confidence, resilience, and independence, ensuring they enjoy a positive and fulfilling school experience.
