About the Role: As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you'll be based on-site, taking charge of cost management, contract administration, and project financials. You'll work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects from inception to completion, adhering to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage project costs and budgets, providing regular updates on financial performance.
2. Conduct valuations, risk assessments, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
3. Prepare, submit, and monitor interim applications for payments, including valuation of variations.
4. Support project managers in financial forecasting, cash flow, and cost analysis.
5. Ensure compliance with contract conditions and industry standards.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project-related financial activities.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the infrastructure or utilities sectors.
2. Strong knowledge of contract management and construction financials.
3. Ability to analyze complex project requirements and optimize cost efficiency.
4. Skilled in negotiating with subcontractors and managing client relationships.
5. Proficiency in relevant software and an understanding of industry standards and regulations.
