Job Description
Desktop Technician Level 2
Role Purpose:
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in desktop support or a related role.
* Provide 2nd line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related technologies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
* This role requires hands-on technical skills and a willingness to travel with a full UK driving license.
* Manage technical issues through a customer ticketing system, ensuring updates and resolutions are provided in a timely manner.
* Perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting, asset inventory, and device upgrades.
* Offer end-user training and guidance on hardware/software usage.
* Assist with infrastructure administration tasks and support IT projects/upgrades.
Technical Skills:
* Strong experience with Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Google apps, and ServiceNow.
* Proficiency in managing MS Active Directory (users, groups, policies).
* Skilled in supporting a variety of devices: desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones, and tablets.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Additional Requirements:
* Full UK driving license and ability to travel.
* Must have the UK clean Driving license
